The third and final post from that lovely summers day a few weeks ago. After the Saatchi Gallery we then headed to Holland Park. I don't know why we haven't been there before all these years, it is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. It was a delight walking around the park and looking at all the blooming flowers. Within the park there is a Japanese Garden called Kyoto Garden, so peaceful and majestic. We'll definitely be going back for a picnic with the rest of the family.

When ever I sit down to write a blog post it always seems to be raining... even this time as I'm writing this post it is raining cats and dogs outside however the pictures I'm about to post are from a few days ago when we were experiencing summer weather.

Okay, so back to the actual point of this post: Saatchi Gallery. An amazing and unique gallery with unusual and eclectic pieces of art. You don't just look at each individual pieces but also look at the room as a whole with everything in it and see how it all comes together. I've been twice to this gallery and each time I've visited, it has been a whole different experience. The day was beautiful, the weather was perfect and the company too. We then later continued exploring and went to Holland Park which I'll be posting soon too, so keep a watch out. Enjoy the pictures.

These were clearly taken on a much sunnier and warmer day when spring graced us for a few days before leaving and the rain coming in. Where are you spring? Anyways, my weekend was easy going, it started off with decluttering the room. Over the years I have collected so many things half of which is junk, which is unbelievable! I still have two more sections of the room to tackle before I'm done but I'm slowly progressing to a clutter free and simple room. The rest of the weekend was spent staying over at my cousins watching old classic movies like Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and North by Northwest an Alfred Hitchcock movie with Cary Grant. We then watched an episode of The Hairy Bikers' in South Korea which inspired us to make bibimbap and kimchi. It wasn't bad considering it was our first attempt and we made do with what we had on hand at home but have both agreed that we need to go to a Korean restaurant for some proper Korean food asap!

My week is a little jam-packed but I love it that way. I've got more spring cleaning to do, coursework, meeting up with old and new friends, cinema trips and some family time. What have you all got planned this week?

Happy Monday!
